Brandon Mull writes a little on his blog about visiting the American Fork Library’s Fablehaven party last week. Among other things, Brandon recieved the Key to the Library.

Dixie and I have been reading the Fablehaven series and are in the middle of book three. If you haven’t read any of it, I personally find the brother/sister protagonists to be much more interesting (and even more likeable) than Harry Potter (who grew increasingly dark and moody through the HP septet). I highly recommend Fablehaven. It’s nice to know that a local author is getting this kind of National recognition. Good things do come from Utah after all!
