Friday, May 29, Wasatch Winds Symphonic Band presents its Spring Concert titled “Music in Motion” at 7:30 p.m. in the American Fork High School auditorium, 510 N. 600 E. Featuring a fun and delightful blend of music, this concert has something for everyone. Cost is $2 for students, $3 individuals, or $10 family.

Wasatch Winds Symphonic Band Winter Concert
7:30 p.m.
American Fork High School auditorium
510 N. 600 E.

Featuring a dynamic blend of music from the dramatic and intense to the lively and spirited, this concert has something for everyone. Highlights include the rapid-fire rhythms of Trieste Overture, Sousa’s best-known march Stars & Stripes Forever, and the unconventional Symphony #1 (In Memoriam) depicting the 1945 bombing of Dresden. Cost is $2 for students, $3 individuals, $10 family.

Open House
Friday, January 16
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We’ll have some fun, specials, and light refreshments.

New Classes

Basic Applique Skills:  Come learn the basics of appliqué with some basic shapes.  This is a two-part class.  Tuesday, January 13 and 27, 10:30 a.m., $25.

Pinwheel Medallion Quilt:  This original pattern will be taught in 3 classes.  Wednesday, January 14, February 11 and March 11, 6:00 p.m., $35.

Flea Market Apron:  This is a cute, ruffled apron.  Thursday, January 22, 6:00 p.m., $15, plus required pattern.

Fat Quarter Bag Class:  A great bag!  Small enough to throw over your shoulder, but big enough to carry a king size quilt.  Tuesday, January 27, 6:00 p.m., $15.

Spring Baskets:  This is a fun, cheery quilt and easy to make, too!  Friday, February 6, 10:30 a.m., $15, pattern required.  There are a limited number of kits available.
